Manic Thursday

Ok so its 1 am on Friday the 17th July. I had most of the day off today as I was sorting out my flat after moving. Spent most of the day moving things - which I have to say is really hard work. i ended up going to take a nap at 6.30pm tonight, to then find myself at 11.30pm! I was so annoyed to have slept all that time, but mostly because I had no dinner! I am up at 5.45am as I go to my BNI (business network meeting) at 6.30am every Friday - so I am now wide awake, and up in just over 4 hours :-( Anyway, I have just eaten some Chicken and pitta bread - I was starving! All I have managed to eat today was my lovely shake in the morning, water through the day, 1 plumb and my multi vit - NOT a good day on the eating side - as eating not enough is worse than eating too much! I can't wait to get settled into this new flat - so I can have some normality back.

I have my shake all prepared in the fridge for when I get up in the morning - it really does keep me going through the day - not only do I feel satisfied, but I also can feel the goodness. You know that way when you eat crap you feel crap!? Its the same when you eat good food, you can feel the good going in.

I think tonight I will prepare my email newsletter (feel free to sign up on www.sjfitness.com for the free newsletter) as i am not tired - also need to get my clothes sorted out for the morning.

Night to you all

So yesterday I started my 3 week detox to get 10lb off for the summer holidays - we all end up putting on a few extra winter lbs - even Personal Trainers (sometimes we can we worse) I always laugh when I have a little weight to lose - its kinda like a challenge (which I always love) I am not saying it is easy - but being a Personal Trainer - I have the skills and knowledge there to get it off fast, easy and keep it off.

So Yesterday I got up and made a lovely cookies and cream soya milk shake - might not sound nice, but it really is. Not only does it taste great, but I feel amazing, I can feel the goodness going in - plus the energy levels are so much higher. yes a bacon butty and a coffee might sound a lot nicer - but would not make me feel or look nicer on the beach!

The last few days have been a bit of a jam packed few - I was at T in the Park all weekend (amazing) plus I have just moved flats (still in the process) on top of that I damaged my back last week - this is an old injury from a fall I had a Christmas, but last week it decided to pop up and say a big hello! So starting a detox has nit come a t a great time - but no time like now - I always say it to clients - so need to take some of my own advice.

Yesterdays eating

Shake in the morning (multi vit), with fruit through the day (as much as I feel I need)
In the afternoon I was out and not very organised - so ended up having a salad lunch out (OK but would have liked a shake)
Dinner was manic as I was head high in boxes - so ended up having to grab a ready meal (so hate doing that - but it really was at the point where I could not find a thing) :-(

I had one cup of coffee yesterday and loads of water all through the day.

I only managed 1 Pilates class, mainly due to my back issue.

So today Thursday 16th July, I am sitting right now with a healthy shake - might see if my back feels up to a gentle jog later - watch this space

PS the measurements and weight will be going up - not had time to get it done as yet.

So it's July - I love this time of the year, I love the heat and getting the old baggy clothes off :-) The only bad thing is you have to lose the clothes and show off the winter pounds - so if you are like me I am on a month long detox to get my body in shape.

I am on 2 healthy shakes a day and a balanced dinner at night - on my heavy training days I am going to be on 3 shakes to keep my energy up - with snacks when needed, and lots and lots of water. The aim is to lose 10 lb the next 3 weeks or so.

Stay tuned to see how i get on.
measurements body fat and weight going up tomorrow for all to see

I have a few offers I am going to stick on here for you - so have a read through

Till next time

March

So how did we get to March already.  Time really does fly past - I used to hate it when my gran would say that too me enjoy your youth, time goes so fast how right was she.

Time flies past when you are busy. I have been working on getting the limited company fully set up - which in this climate is proving to be rather difficult. last week was horrible - I really was pulling my hair out by the end of it - but i got there in the end :-)

Friday last week was great - it was the first day of the course "Business Map" that I am dong with the GO group in Glasgow. i really am looking forward to the residential weekend on the 20th March - I cant wait to learn from other business owners and entrepreneurs :-) I am very aware I sound completly sad

This week my main objectives are to get a PA sorted. I have decided i need help with day to day tasks - so this is my mission this week.

I am really looking froward to teaching the new salsa class next Tuesday at 8pm - this will be a blast and full of fun :-) its a drop in class at £4.50 per session and free if you are a class member
