So yesterday I started my 3 week detox to get 10lb off for the summer holidays - we all end up putting on a few extra winter lbs - even Personal Trainers (sometimes we can we worse) I always laugh when I have a little weight to lose - its kinda like a challenge (which I always love) I am not saying it is easy - but being a Personal Trainer - I have the skills and knowledge there to get it off fast, easy and keep it off.
So Yesterday I got up and made a lovely cookies and cream soya milk shake - might not sound nice, but it really is. Not only does it taste great, but I feel amazing, I can feel the goodness going in - plus the energy levels are so much higher. yes a bacon butty and a coffee might sound a lot nicer - but would not make me feel or look nicer on the beach!
The last few days have been a bit of a jam packed few - I was at T in the Park all weekend (amazing) plus I have just moved flats (still in the process) on top of that I damaged my back last week - this is an old injury from a fall I had a Christmas, but last week it decided to pop up and say a big hello! So starting a detox has nit come a t a great time - but no time like now - I always say it to clients - so need to take some of my own advice.
Yesterdays eating
Shake in the morning (multi vit), with fruit through the day (as much as I feel I need)
In the afternoon I was out and not very organised - so ended up having a salad lunch out (OK but would have liked a shake)
Dinner was manic as I was head high in boxes - so ended up having to grab a ready meal (so hate doing that - but it really was at the point where I could not find a thing) :-(
I had one cup of coffee yesterday and loads of water all through the day.
I only managed 1 Pilates class, mainly due to my back issue.
So today Thursday 16th July, I am sitting right now with a healthy shake - might see if my back feels up to a gentle jog later - watch this space
PS the measurements and weight will be going up - not had time to get it done as yet.
